Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to training courses, workshops and related services provided by GO! First Aid, a trading name operated by Gemma Johnson-Davies, sole trader.
By making a booking with GO! First Aid, the person or organisation making the booking agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of themselves and, where applicable, the delegates attending the training.
GO! First Aid reserves the right to review and update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The Terms and Conditions in force at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
1. Making a Booking
Training may be booked through the GO! First Aid website, Ticket Tailor, Jotform, email, telephone or another booking method provided by GO! First Aid.
Open Courses
Bookings for scheduled open courses are confirmed when the required booking information and payment have been successfully received.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and that the course selected is appropriate for the learner.
In-House and Private Training
For training delivered exclusively for an organisation or group, a booking will be confirmed once the booking requirements specified by GO! First Aid have been completed and confirmation has been provided.
This may include acceptance of a quotation, completion of a booking form, provision of required information and/or payment arrangements.
The person making the booking is responsible for providing accurate information about the venue, number of learners, course requirements and any other information reasonably requested by GO! First Aid.
2. Course Fees and Payment
Course fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms stated at the time of booking or on the relevant invoice.
Where payment by invoice has been agreed, payment must be received by the due date shown on the invoice.
Any applicable promotional or discount code must be entered or quoted at the time of booking. Discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers and discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
GO! First Aid reserves the right to withhold course access, attendance, results and/or certificates where payment remains outstanding.
3. Open Course Cancellations and Transfers
If a learner is unable to attend an open course, GO! First Aid must be notified as soon as possible.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, the following cancellation charges apply:
More than 28 calendar days before the course: no cancellation charge
22–28 calendar days before the course: 25% of the course fee
15–21 calendar days before the course: 50% of the course fee
14 calendar days or fewer before the course: 100% of the course fee
Requests to transfer to another available course date will be considered at the discretion of GO! First Aid and are subject to availability.
Failure to attend a course without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be provided.
Where a course includes eLearning or digital content that has already been accessed, additional cancellation restrictions may apply.
4. In-House and Private Course Cancellations
If an organisation or client wishes to cancel or postpone an in-house or private course, GO! First Aid must be notified in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed, the following cancellation charges apply:
More than 28 calendar days before the course: no cancellation charge
22–28 calendar days before the course: 25% of the course fee
15–21 calendar days before the course: 50% of the course fee
14 calendar days or fewer before the course: 100% of the course fee
Requests to postpone or rearrange a course will be considered at the discretion of GO! First Aid.
Where a postponement is agreed, the rearranged course must normally take place within 12 months of the original course date. Additional charges may apply where GO! First Aid has already incurred non-refundable costs.
5. Cancellation or Changes by GO! First Aid
GO! First Aid reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate or reschedule training where reasonably necessary, including due to trainer illness, insufficient learner numbers, venue issues, adverse weather, circumstances beyond our reasonable control or other operational reasons.
Where GO! First Aid cancels a course, learners or clients will normally be offered an alternative date or a refund of course fees paid.
GO! First Aid is not responsible for indirect losses or expenses incurred as a result of a course cancellation or change, including travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.
6. Blended Learning and eLearning
Some GO! First Aid courses include online learning that must be completed before attending a practical training session.
Where completion of eLearning is a course requirement, learners are responsible for completing the required online learning within the specified timeframe.
Failure to complete required eLearning before the practical session may result in the learner being unable to participate in or successfully complete the course. In these circumstances, additional charges may apply for rearranging training or completing outstanding requirements.
eLearning access is provided to the registered learner and must not be shared with another person.
Learners are expected to complete their own online learning, assessments and knowledge checks.
GO! First Aid reserves the right to investigate unusually short completion times, suspected misuse of eLearning accounts or other concerns regarding the authenticity of learner participation.

GO! First Aid aims to make training as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible.
Learners and booking organisations should inform GO! First Aid in advance of any accessibility requirements, learning needs, health considerations or reasonable adjustments that may be relevant to participation in the course.
GO! First Aid will make reasonable efforts to accommodate notified requirements but cannot guarantee that every adjustment will be possible.
First aid training may include practical activities such as performing CPR on a training manikin, placing a casualty into the recovery position and other physical activities.
Learners should inform the trainer of any relevant concerns or limitations.
10. Behaviour and Conduct
GO! First Aid reserves the right to remove a learner from a course where their behaviour is considered disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate.

11. Trainers
GO! First Aid will provide appropriately qualified and competent trainers to deliver its courses.
GO! First Aid reserves the right to substitute a trainer where necessary, provided the replacement trainer is suitably qualified and competent to deliver the relevant course.
12. Course Completion, Assessment and Certification
Attendance alone does not guarantee successful completion of a course or the award of a certificate.
Learners must meet the relevant attendance, participation, assessment and course requirements.
Certificates will only be issued following successful completion of the relevant course requirements and, where applicable, receipt of full payment.
GO! First Aid reserves the right to withhold certification where course requirements have not been met.
13. Training Materials and Intellectual Property
All course materials, eLearning content, website content, digital resources, videos, graphics, assessments, downloads and other materials provided by GO! First Aid remain the intellectual property of GO! First Aid or the relevant copyright owner.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
15. Venues and Health and Safety
Learners must comply with all reasonable health, safety, security and venue requirements.
Where training is delivered at a venue provided by the client, the client is responsible for ensuring that the venue is safe, suitable and appropriate for the agreed training.
GO! First Aid reserves the right to refuse to deliver or continue training where a venue or situation presents an unacceptable health and safety risk.
16. Unpaid Invoices
Where payment by invoice has been agreed, invoices must be paid by the due date shown.
For qualifying business-to-business debts, GO! First Aid reserves the right to claim statutory interest, compensation and reasonable recovery costs in accordance with applicable late payment legislation.
